General Camps

This four night/five day program run during school holidays has been specially designed to teach leadership, respect, self confidence, teamwork, communication skills, trust, perseverance, emotional regulation, anger management and self esteem. Campers will be challenged through a series of activities, achieving things they never thought possible, and sending them home with a sense of accomplishment.

Our General Camps are open to any child aged 8-12 living in Western Australia, with camps for children from Perth Metropolitan Area (transport is provided to and from Perth) and Regional WA. We provide a minimum 1:3 ratio of camp counsellor to child to ensure each camper gets the most out of their camp experience. The cost of a kids camp at Camp Kulin is $395 for Perth metro kids (transport included to and from Perth) and $355 for regional kids (transport not included).

Our scholarship program is specifically for children who have been affected by childhood trauma. Places at this camp are funded by generous sponsors who take part in our Sponsor a Child program.

To be eligible to attend a scholarship camp, campers must be referred by a case worker. Our camp manager conducts extensive interviews and discussions with each case worker prior to the child’s time at camp to ensure their needs are met and they are matched with the right camper group and camp counsellor. Following the child’s time at camp, we provide reports back to their case workers and keep in regular contact to track their progress.
