Camp Kulin has received a big boost thanks to a $5,000 donation from Kulin IGA to go towards buying new equipment and activities for the nationally recognised program.

Owners of the local family run business Rachel and Allyn Argent presented the cheque to Camp Kulin Manager Tanya Dupagne and Program Assistant Daniel Philip last week.

“We are very proud to present the cheque for $5,000 to Camp Kulin so they can buy much needed equipment for their programs to support local children and children from around the State,” Mrs Argent said.

The Camp Kulin program has grown rapidly over the past three years, and Manager Tanya Dupagne said the donation will support this growth.

“It’s really important to keep all of our activities current and keep introducing new challenges for our returning campers, school groups and camp counsellors. This donation will enable us to upgrade our kitchen equipment for My Kitchen Rules Challenges, purchase the latest teambuilding challenges, get extra equipment for our circus program and introduce some totally new activities,” she said.

“This is an amazing donation from a small, local business that will have a massive impact on all the campers who come through our program.”
